A Very Special Performance and Reception in New York

The triumphant winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition (2015), Dmitry Masleev (28) took the First Prize and the international spotlight with wholehearted support from the audience, the jury, and the media. The success of his first touring season has firmly established his profile as a “future great pianist” (La Croix) of “virtuoso brilliance” (The Financial Times) and “musicality of metaphysical proportions” (Neue Musikzeitung). It also inspired an ever-growing worldwide demand for his artistry. Upcoming performances include solo recitals at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, the Berlin debut with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, an artistic residence with SWR Orchestra Stuttgart and Christoph Eschenbach, and an Asian tour with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. “A discovery and a brilliant pianist”, is how Boris Berezovsky describes Dmitry Masleev. The two will give duo recitals in Moscow later this season, playing the music of Bartok and Liszt.
